For children who cannot leave their rooms, we bring the magic directly to them. Each delivery sparks smiles, lifts spirits, and reminds families that joy and healing can be found even in the toughest times.

Every costume, toy, and accessory is chosen and delivered with love. These treasures create moments of empowerment, letting children play, pretend, and laugh, spark imagination, and feel a sense of control and joy. Even small moments of magic can make a lasting impact.

Where the Magic Happens

Thanks to partners like you, Chelsea’s Closet spreads joy and comfort to children at Randall, Doernbecher, Shriners, and Seattle Children’s hospitals, as well as Asante Rogue Regional in Southern Oregon. We also ship Costume Care Packages nationwide, bringing magic to kids facing serious illnesses across the country. Serving 1,700 children each year, we create moments of healing, joy, and imagination for every child.

Chelsea’s Closet began at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in 2010. Today, our program continues monthly visits at Doernbecher and Randall Children’s Hospitals, including permanent costume closets in Randall’s oncology and physical therapy units.Our work with children at Shriner’s Hospital in their Halo Unit and has expanded to monthly visits to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. In addition to our hospital visits, we partner with numerous local nonprofits that support children with serious and life-changing illnesses, allowing us to bring the same healing moments of play and imagination to children beyond hospital walls.
