Join us in a year of celebration – marking the 10th Anniversary of Chelsea’s Closet! Throughout the year, we invite you to meet the people who bring the organization to life!

Jason Hicks, Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder:
“I am awestruck each time a parent tells me about the impact Chelsea’s Closet has on their child’s treatment… the effect of having their child pick out a costume at the hospital so they can be called Belle or Pirate Pete for the day, or the joy of having all their kids play together like they would at home. As Chelsea’s dad, I saw daily the transformation that would take place when she put on a costume and twirled around like she was floating on air. When we proposed the concept of Chelsea’s Closet to the hospitals 10 years ago, we knew first-hand that costume therapy worked, but the growth of the program into the pediatric Physical Therapy department has shown us that the hospitals agree. I am excited for 2019 and the children and families who we get to meet and make a difference during their difficult journey. If you would like to be a part of our volunteer program to assist at our monthly hospital visits, to plan with our event committees, or to organize and sort at our warehouse during the week, let us know! We’d love to show you the power and excitement of Chelsea’s Closet and how a simple costume can help a child play, pretend and laugh during treatment.”
