Malala Yousafzai beautifully encapsulates what parents around the world want for their children, “To every child – I dream of a world where you can laugh, dance, sing, learn, live in peace and be happy.” The reality is that there are children here in the Pacific Northwest and throughout the world that face incredible health challenges every day.
Chelsea’s Closet is compassionately committed to helping seriously ill children in our community experience joy through therapeutic play. Imagine communities, countries, even a world, where all children are given the opportunity to dance like princesses and fly like superheroes. I am passionate about giving every child the chance to laugh and play. As a Board member, I am honored to be able to make an impact in shaping the future of Chelsea’s Closet programming. I have learned if you can imagine something, it becomes a possibility. Let’s make a difference!
