Join us in a year of celebration – marking the 10th Anniversary of Chelsea’s Closet! Throughout the year, we invite you to meet the people who bring the organization to life!
Tonya Rogers – Rehab Manager at Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel and Chelsea’s Closet Board Member
“I’m involved with Chelsea’s Closet because I believe in the mission and have seen first hand what providing a costume and allowing a child to play can do for their physical and mental healing. I have learned that children just want to be children, even when they are hurting or going through a difficult journey. The ability to escape is refreshing for both the child and their family.
My goals for Chelsea’s Closet include expanding the reach by expanding the board of directors and helping the organization become financially sustainable for years to come, to continue its mission of inspiring hope and healing to seriously ill children through therapeutic dress up and play.
My time away from Randall Children’s Hospital and Chelsea’s Closet finds me as busy wife and mother of two beautiful middle school girls. I enjoy watching my girls flying around the basketball and volleyball courts. I also coach youth volleyball and am currently working on my MBA from Oregon State University.”
