A Room Full of Yes
Local women. Open hearts. Real impact.

Community Women’s Day of Service is what happens when local women decide to show up for their community, for each other, and for causes that matter.
And this year, it felt like a room full of yes.
Yes, I’ll help.
Yes, I’ll show up.
Yes, this matters.
Nearly 180 women came together, rolling up their sleeves and getting right to work. Around the room, it was a beautiful sight, women of all ages cutting fabric, tying blankets, organizing supplies, and connecting while doing something meaningful.
For Chelsea’s Closet, it was something special to be part of.
Not only did these women give their time, but they also gave generously, donating the fleece that would become something so much more.
By the end of the day, 200 nail kits had been completed, and 37 fleece blankets were made, each one created for a child who could use a little extra love right now.
And soon, they’ll be in the hands of kids we serve in local hospitals.
A soft blanket to curl up in.
A pop of color, a little sparkle, a moment of choice.
Small things that quietly say you’re still a kid, even here.
That’s the part people don’t always see.
Before a child steps into Chelsea’s Closet, before the outfits, the imagination, the laughter, there are people behind the scenes making those moments possible.
This day was full of those people.
Women who said yes and meant it.
We’re so grateful to have been included.
And a special thank you to Launa and Hadley Lowery for helping bring this project to life in such a personal way.
Because of this room full of yes, more kids will have moments to play, to feel comfort, and to just be kids again, right when they need it most.
