Because of You… Magic Happened

Our first-ever Crowned in Magic Luncheon was more than a gathering. It was a meaningful moment in the story of the Chelsea Hicks Foundation, one filled with connection, generosity, and a shared belief in what’s possible for the children and families we serve.

From the very beginning, the room held something special. Nearly 200 guests came together, many experiencing our mission for the first time. What unfolded was not just an introduction to our work, but an invitation into it. A space where imagination met purpose, and where the stories shared and the moments experienced reflected the heart behind what we do.

Because what we create together is more than costumes.

It is confidence.

It is comfort.

It is a chance for a child to feel like something other than a patient, even if just for a moment.

Because of you… magic happened.

We are deeply grateful to every guest, volunteer, table captain, and supporter who helped bring this luncheon to life. Your presence, your belief, and your willingness to lean in made this day truly unforgettable.

And then, in a moment that took everyone by surprise, something extraordinary happened.

The Walters Foundation shared a generous gift of $25,000.

Because of what was shared in that room, through generosity, through belief, and through a collective yes, we are able to continue creating moments of comfort, imagination, and connection for children facing some of life’s most difficult challenges.

This luncheon was just the beginning.
