Behind the Scenes: A Little More Sparkle Is Coming to the Ball

Behind the Scenes: A Little More Sparkle Is Coming to the Ball
What happens when you give a talented mixologist the theme Once Upon a Time… A Night to Sparkle and tell him to have some fun?
Apparently, a lot!
A Mocktail Experience Made Just for the Ball
Matthew McClure of Dress The Drink has partnered with the Chelsea Hicks Foundation before, but this year he is pulling out all the stops. Dress The Drink is generously providing the entire mocktail experience for our 17th Annual Costume Ball & Gala, and Matthew has been having some serious fun dreaming it up.
Three signature mocktails created just for the Ball.
Handcrafted syrups and mixers.
Gold dusted sugar rims.
Custom drink wafer paper.
Gorgeous garnishes that may make you stop and take a picture before you take your first sip.
Bringing a Few Friends Into the Fun
And Matthew didn’t stop there. He brought Fever Tree into the fun as a partner, helping provide even more of what we need to bring these creations to life.
There is also a signature cocktail in the works, but we’re keeping that one a secret until October 10.
And Here May Be My Favorite Part
Matthew is flying in from Las Vegas to personally run our mocktail bar and bring all of this to life for our guests.
This Is What Partnership Looks Like
This is what makes a great partnership so much fun. Matthew didn’t just ask what we needed. He took our theme, added his creativity, connections and talent, and found a way to make the experience even more special.
We spend so much time behind the scenes planning the big things for the Costume Ball, but sometimes it’s these unexpected details that make you think, I cannot wait for our guests to see this.
Thank you, Matthew and Dress The Drink, for bringing your heart, creativity and a whole lot of flair to our night.
October 10 just got a little more magical.
