Three Rivers National Charity League: Helping Magic Happen, Month After Month

Some of the most meaningful work we do at the Chelsea Hicks Foundation happens quietly, in the day-to-day moments that make everything else possible. For the past two years, the Three Rivers Chapter of the National Charity League has been right there with us.

Made up of dedicated mothers and daughters from communities across the Lake Oswego area, the Three Rivers Chapter reflects the spirit of its name, rooted in connection, movement, and a shared purpose. There is something powerful about serving side by side across generations, and you can feel it the moment they walk through our doors.

Month after month, they show up with open hearts and a willingness to help wherever it is needed. Whether they are sorting costumes, organizing supplies, or preparing items for hospital visits, they take on the work that keeps everything moving forward and allows us to reach more children and families.

What means the most is their consistency and care. They do not just volunteer once. They have made this a part of their lives. Over time, they have become an essential part of our core volunteer team, and truly, we could not do this work without them.

Because of their support, more children facing serious illness are able to experience moments of joy, imagination, and escape, moments where they can simply play, pretend, and laugh.

To the Three Rivers Chapter, thank you for being part of this work with us. Your time, your hearts, and your steady presence mean more than we can say.

Because of you, magic is not just a moment. It becomes something we can share again and again.

About the Chelsea Hicks Foundation

Starting in 2009, the Chelsea Hicks Foundation has been inspiring hope and empowering children through the power of play. When serious illness impacts a child's world, CHF helps children and families PLAY, PRETEND, and LAUGH together, creating special moments and lasting memories when they are needed most.
