When Community Shows Up: Lithia4Kids

Recently, Chelsea Hicks Foundation had the honor of gathering alongside nine other nonprofit organizations through Lithia4Kids, the charitable giving initiative connected to Lithia & Driveway Motors. During the event, Lithia4Kids presented a combined $25,000 in support to the organizations represented, investing directly back into programs and services creating meaningful impact throughout our communities.

The gathering brought together nonprofits from across the region, each working in different ways to strengthen and support the lives of others. Throughout the event, Lithia employees showed up with encouragement, kindness, and genuine interest in the missions represented throughout the room. It was inspiring to witness a company so committed to creating value in the communities where they operate through local giving, events, and community support. Their belief in investing back into the community was evident in every conversation and interaction throughout the event.

At Chelsea Hicks Foundation, our mission is to inspire hope and healing to seriously ill children through therapeutic dress up and play. Through hospital visits, permanent Chelsea’s Closets, and Costume Care Packages shipped nationwide, we create moments of imagination, comfort, and joy for children facing difficult medical journeys. While costumes may appear simple on the surface, the impact reaches far beyond dress up. These moments allow children to laugh, dream, and feel like kids again during incredibly difficult times.

We are incredibly grateful for the support Lithia4Kids has shown Chelsea Hicks Foundation and for the opportunity to connect alongside other nonprofits making a difference in our communities. As this partnership continues to grow, we are excited about the possibility of future involvement and finding new ways to work together to support children and families facing serious illness.
