Spring is one of my favorite seasons in the Pacific Northwest. After a long winter, capturing the little signs of new life and bursts of majestic colors and fragrances, gives me a sense of renewed hope and promise.
Hope has the power to give us courage to face our fears and adversities. It elevates our spirits and brightens our outlook even in our darkest moments.
As a volunteer, I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing opportunity to serve the children and families in our local children’s hospitals through the Chelsea Hicks Foundation. To witness firsthand the effect and transformation one costume can bring a child is a powerful experience. Our unique play and dress up program gives them the opportunity to be kids, have fun and create lasting memories to help them through their courageous journey.
We invite you to join us in helping to bring new hope and smiles through Chelsea’s Closet. We have many wonderful volunteer opportunities and will help find a perfect fit for your schedule and interests. Please contact us today and help us bring hope and cheer when children need it most: volunteer@chelseahicksfoundation.org
